After a season of ups and downs, Kaizer Chiefs were eliminated from the Nedbank Cup in a 2-1 semi-final defeat to Orlando Pirates on Saturday, and their 2022-23 campaign is fast drawing to a close.

Notably, next up, Amakhosi will take on third-placed SuperSport United this Saturday – and a win away from home could reignite hopes of finishing in the top three in the DStv Premiership.

After that encounter, the Soweto giants will then take on fifth-place Cape Town City in another challenging encounter. So if the Glamour Boys were able to finish the season with two wins over top opposition, it would at least represent a bright finish to this season.
