Former Kaizer Chiefs star Ngezana wanted in France

27-year-old Siyabonga Ngezana joined the Romanian giants FCSB from Kaizer Chiefs at the start of this campaign for roughly €600,000. Now, his new side could already be entertaining ideas of moving him on for a massive profit.

FC Lorient are among the suitors for Ngezana’s signature and Becali won’t stand in his way, at least until they wrap up the domestic title.

“No, they asked me how much [he] costs but I didn’t say a penny now,” he said on the Fanatik SuperLiga show.

“It’s a team from France, but they don’t make prices on players before the championship is over. At least let the transfer period come. Any player with me is for sale.

“Ngezana and Vasilescu and Georgescu and Ionescu and Popescu. Everyone, anyone is for sale at the right price.”

With the French top-flight club looking to retain its top-flight status, bids are expected in January, where FCSB are likely to hold out for €6 million (R122 million).
