The DStv Premiership match between AmaZulu and Marumo Gallants on Wednesday ended in bizarre circumstances after it was initially paused due to a clash of kits before being postponed.

Fans were left scratching their heads in confusion after tuning in to follow the match, with the two teams wearing strikingly similar kits.
It was clear that the jerseys were going to cause issues and the match referee quickly drew a halt to proceedings after just nine minutes of play.
AmaZulu confirmed the news via their official Twitter page.

“Please note that the game has been put on pause due to the confusion of the colours of the kits,” said AmaZulu.
“The officials are trying to sort it out and we will be back in action shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
And, after a break lasting over 20 minutes, the Durban outfit issued an update on the situation, confirming the match had in fact been postponed.
“Only 9 minutes into the game and it has been decided that this afternoon’s encounter will be postponed due to the clash of kit colours.
“Further details of the new fixture will be communicated soon.”
The score was 0-0 at the time.
