Ex-Pirates coach heading to Mzansi to Chiefs?

The South African has gathered that former Orlando Pirates coach is set to return to Mzansi and he is linked with Kaizer Chiefs.

Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is now linked with a top DStv Premiership side in Mzansi, The South African has gathered – is he heading to Kaizer Chiefs?

An African journalist, MickyJnr_ Reports that Sredojevic has confirmed that he will be heading to the South African top flight, DStv Premiership and Kaizer Chiefs could be his next destination.

According to his social media post, the former Zambia and Pirates mentor is now heading to Mzansi and repirtedly courted by Chiefs and he is seen as a possible replacement for coach Molefi Ntseki.

EX-PIRATES COACH HEADING TO KAIZER CHIEFS?

Having recently parted ways with Uganda after failing to qualify for the upcoming 2023 CAF African Cup of Nations tournament in Cote d’Ivoire, Sredojevic has become a free agent.

Micky also posted that he had an interview with Srejodevic and he confirmed the developments that Chiefs could be his next employers.

“The Serb tactician confirmed that he’s been approached by a big club in South Africa,” he posted.

“Micho is “seriously” wanted by Kaizer Chiefs. Nothing finalized yet but there’s a strong interest and it is being considered:

The South African recently reported that Sredojevic, also referred to as Micho was axed as the Cranes of Uganda coach, will he replace Ntseki at Chiefs?

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) announced the departure of a former Pirates coach following Uganda’s failure to qualify for AFCON finals.

Formerly in charge of Pirates, Sredojevic is no longer the head coach of the Cranes who he coached since 2021 in what was his second spell with them.

This was confirmed by FUFA in an official statement released on their website on Thursday, 14 September.
