DStv Premiership: FIVE players suspended for weekend action

The DStv Premiership 10th round takes place this weekend and five players will miss the action due to suspension.

FIVE DSTV PREMIERSHIP PLAYERS SUSPENDED

Kaizer Chiefs will take a trip to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch FC on Sunday without their defender Zitha Kwinika and midfielder George Matlou. 

The former Stellenbosch FC defender received a one match suspension after having accumulated four yellow cards while Matlou will be serving his second of his two-match suspension after he was shown a red card in the recent match against AmaZulu.

Orlando Pirates host Richards Bay FC on Saturday and will have to look at other options in the goalkeeping department with the regular shot-stopper Richard Ofori suspended for the match.

Bucs will also have to make do without their right-back Thabiso Monyane who was sent off in their last DStv Premiership outing against Sekhukhune United on Tuesday.

Lastly, Sekhukhune United’s Tshiwabwa Tresor Yamba will serve the second of his two-match suspension due to the red card he received when they played Stellies.
