Could Dan Malesela be dancing his way to Kaizer Chiefs?

Dan ‘Dance’ Malesela is known for his exciting and attacking brand of football and many believe he could be a good fit for Kaizer Chiefs.

Baroka coach Dan Malesela has finally opened up about rumours linking him to the Kaizer Chiefs job.

Amakhosi are in the market for a new coach having parted ways with Molefi Ntseki in October.

The 58-year-old former Chippa United has been one of the few names linked to the Amakhosi job.

Although he no lo0nger coaches in the Premier Soccer League, Malesela’s style of play is hailed by many football fans who believe he can transform the club and take the current crop of players to a new level.

Afterall, he denied Kaizer Chiefs the Nedbank Cup back in 2019 when he was coach of TS Galaxy.

“I’ve heard that a lot [people say Chiefs needs Dan Malesela style of football],” he was quoted on FARPost.

‘Dance’ open to coach Kaizer Chiefs

“Even one time I went to a Chiefs game, before the match, everybody was saying: ‘Hey coach, we heard the news that you are coming to Chiefs and then Chiefs won 3-0’ and they didn’t say anything afterwards.”

“But any team that is good and that has resources like Kaizer Chiefs, everybody would want to coach there. I don’t want to disrespect my club, I have a contract with them,” said Malesela.
