CONFIRMED: Kaizer Chiefs are off to Europe this pre-season!

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed their trip to Europe for their pre-season and it remains to be seen if Nasreddine Nabi will be on the plane.

Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed their pre-season plans ahead of what is should be a massive season in the next.

Chiefs are waiting on the arrival of their new incoming coach Nasreddine Nabi, who coached his last AS FAR game. 

Nabi to join Chiefs later?

This in a 2-1 Throne Cup final against league winner Raja Athletic Club, who completed a double invincible season. Nabi is now expected to swiftly joined up with Chiefs. But it remains to be seen if he will be on the early stages of the their pre-season trip abroad. As it stands, it is his new assistant coach Fernando Da Cruz who has been taking care of matters. This while awaiting his arrival.

The Chiefs players and management had arrived back at Naturena for their early testing last week. It is expected that this week they will step up their work on the field, in what will coincide with their pre-season. Taking to their official x account, the club have confirmed the rumours that they will be heading to Turkey as early as the 4th of July. With this trip just three days after Nabi’s last game, it remains to be seen if he will join his new team in time for the trip.

What will also be interesting to see, is if any new signings will be on the trip. If they’re to have them on board then one would imagine they would have to be announced in the next day or so. Another interesting thing to note would be which youngsters from the DStv Diski Challenge structures go. This publication already reported that young Siphesihle Tati is currently being assessed by the Chiefs first team.

Chiefs are yet to release any further information on the trip. As of yet, there are no indications of a potential fixture list.
