Cape Town Spurs are reportedly looking to pounce on a former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs who’s currently a free agent.

Cape Town Spurs are reportedly looking to pounce on a former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs who’s currently a free agent.

According to FarPost, Ayanda Patosi is set to begin his assessment with Cape Town Spurs with the view to earning a contract.

Patosi hasn’t been attached to any club since leaving Iranian side Foolad FC in January 2023 where he contributed 18 goals and 10 assists in 80 competitive matches.

CAPE TOWN SPURS SHOW INTEREST IN AYANDA PATOSI

“Patosi is set to begin training with Spurs tomorrow. Although he may not be in peak condition, we’ll have to wait and see,” said a source known to the publication.

“While his pace might be a concern, he could bring valuable PSL experience and impressive offensive skills if he can replicate his previous successes in Iran and with Cape Town City.”

CAPE TOWN SPURS BANKING ON FREE AGENTS?

Having struggled so far on their return to the PSL, Spurs have admitted that signing top free agents could be the way to go.
