We already knew the Buccaneers had wrapped up deals for Melusi Buthelezi and Siphelo Baloni, but they’ve made it official that moves for wide attackers Katlego Otladisa and Patrick Maswanganyi are also over the line. Pirates have clinched Otladisa’s services from relegated Marumo Gallants, and beaten off competition from a number of PSL rivals. Meanwhile, Maswanganyi arrives from SuperSport to further bolster the club’s wide options in attack.

Bucs edging closer to Hlatshwayo deal?
According to popular ITK source UnplayableZA, the Buccaneers are close to completing a deal for highly-rated Golden Arrows defender Sicelo Hlatshwatyo. He’s been on their radar for some time, so Bucs fans will be glad the club is close to sealing a switch for him. The 29-year-old is a central defender by trade but can fill in at full-back if required.
