BREAKING NEWS: Kaizer Chiefs complete ONE more international signing

Kaizer Chiefs have officially completed the signing of Bafana Bafana international Austin Dube from Richards Bay.

Kaizer Chiefs have officially completed the signing of Bafana Bafana international Austin Dube from Richards Bay.

Dube’s arrival to Naturena doesn’t come as a surprise as The South African predicted that his unveiling was imminent.

Chiefs had already concluded the deal to sign Dube from the Rich Boyz prior to the team’s departure to Morocco for the CAF Champions League final.

However, Chiefs were waiting for the conclusion of the Cosafa Cup tournament before announcing the 28-year-old centre-back.

Chiefs took to their social media platforms to announce Dube’s acquisition on a three-year deal with an option to renew for a further two years.

Dube becomes Amakhosi’s seventh new signing ahead of the start of the 2021-22 season which is set to get underway in mid-August.

He joins Njabulo Ngcobo, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Sibusiso Mabiliso, Brendon Peterson, Phathutshedzo Nange, Sifiso Hlanti who all joined Chiefs last week.

Given Thibedi was also unveiled as one of Chiefs’ ‘new’ arrivals after being handed a two-year deal following his expiry of his loan deal with Swallows.

The eight signings are expected to report for pre-season training at the Chiefs Village next week as the entire team will be given some time off this week.
