Kaizer Chiefs will have to turn their central midfielder search elsewhere because Bafana Bafana star Thabo Cele just signed for a new club.

Chiefs were linked with 26-year-old Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele for weeks but he’s now officially joined Russian Premier League outfit Fakel Voronezh. AmaZulu, Sekhukhune, Morocco’s AS FAR Rabat and MLS side St Louis City SC also made enquiries, according to reports. St. Louis City’s interest was especially ironic, given they have former Glamour Boys midfield favourite Njabulo Blom on their books.
