BREAKING: Former Orlando Pirates star set to join Khama Billiat in Zim

Former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United star Kudakwashe Mahachi is keen to join former Kaizer Chiefs talisman Khama Billiat at Dynamos FC.

Mahachi was recently released by West African giants Medeama from the Ghanaian Premier League just five months into his 12-month contract.

FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES STAR SET TO JOIN BILLIAT IN ZIM

The star, who has had dramatic stints with Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport and Pirates, is said to be in Zimbabwe already and is in contact with Dynamos officials.

According to the Herald, the Harare-based outfit has given the green light to contract negations. Well-placed sources have it that the former Orlando Pirates star will join Khama Billiat at Dynamos after returning from Ghana.

Rumour mill has it that his take-home salary will be the same as that of several highest-earning stars in the Castle Larger Premier League.

No doubt the news has since thrust Kudakwashe Mahachi into the top trends. However, against the news, his camp has yet to shed more light on the possible move to the Dynamos.

KHAMA BILLIAT’S MOVE

Dynamos has struggled to win the league since 2014. Confirmed reports have the club will be banking its hopes on the two stars. Dynamos will be representing Zimbabwe in the CAF Confederation Cup this year after winning the annual Chibuku Super Cup last season.

A possible reunion between Khama Billiat and Kudakwashe Mahachi is more likely. The news of his rumoured transfer came in the backdrop of Khama Billiat’s move. Speaking anonymously, a senior official from the Harare-based outfit confirmed the news to the media. “Billiat will be in the country to conclude the deal,” said the source.
