Black Leopards have not had it all their own way in front of goal this season, but AmaZulu’s problems at that end of the pitch have far exceeded theirs.
Bongi Ntuli aside, AmaZulu have still not had a single goalscorer in the Premiership in 2019-20. Nevertheless, they managed to keep a clean sheet in the 0-0 derby draw with Maritzburg United.
“Not only here, even at Manchester City they have enough quality but in the last third they are not converting chances,” AmaZulu coach Jozef Vukušič told the media after the draw with Maritzburg.
“Of course it’s about that quality but we work on that. Ntuli’s statistics are okay but all the players must improve, so that is our daily work to improve.”
