Khama Billiat left Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season and there are reports he might have found a new PSL club.

33-year-old Khama Billiat has been the focus of intense media scrutiny since he left Kaizer Chiefs. The former Sundowns and Ajax man left Naturena in rather acrimonious circumstances after he wasn’t offered a new deal and then refused to turn up for training.
According to iDiski Times, Cape Town City might renew interest in Billiat after his former Ajax teammate Lebo Manyama joined the Mother City club’s technical staff alongside head coach Eric Tinkler. Billiat’s career in South Africa all started back in Cape Town.
Now City chairman John Comitis, who was in charge of Ajax when Billiat joined, has confirmed their interest.
Speaking to Thabo Mosia on GameOn on Radio2000, Comitis was coy but when asked about Billiat, said he’d be a strong consideration.
“Who wouldn’t be?” Comitis said when asked if he’d be interested.
“I think he’s 33-years-old now. And ja. You never say no to a player like that. I’m not sure what his intentions are at the moment. But it’s a good one to think about.

Comitis coy on potential Billiat move
When Mosia asked if he had already been in contact with Billiat, Comitis was noncommital with his answer.
“Who’s speaking to you now from my club?” Comitis said laughing.
“Just remember, I brought Khama from Zimbabwe to South Africa when I was at Ajax, remember that? So I know what Khama’s all about.”
Comitis insists he and Billiat continue to have a good relationship.
