According to UnplayableZA, Thabo Cele is still in Poland after being released by Ekstraklasa outfit Radomiak. “He’s agreed in principle to join Chiefs, but there are some issues regarding his personal terms. It’ll be clear by Saturday” according to their source.

Chiefs will hope to conclude a deal for 26-year-old Cele before their 2023-24 campaign gets underway on Sunday against Chippa at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The holding midfielder made 20 appearances for Radomiak last season, and has seven Bafana Bafana caps to his name, to date.

Meanehile, 26-year-old Kgaogelo Sekgota is in the process of a sealing a move to Stellenbosch, according to the latest reports. That means the creative winger will have an opportunity to make a big statement against Chiefs’ big Soweto rivals Pirates on the opening weekend of the new DStv Premiership season. Stellies face the Buccaneers at 8pm on Saturday 5 August.
