KAIZER CHIEFS UPGRADING IN THE LEFT-BACK POSITION

The Glamour Boys have identified left-back as a problem position with 33-year-old Sifiso Hlanti approaching the twilight of his career, and Edmilson Dove more of a natural central defender.

“It seems Kaizer Chiefs have made a decision not to extend Sifiso Hlanti’s contract, which is set to expire in June,” the report said.

“According to a source in the know, Chiefs have been keeping tabs on Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC and are planning to make him an offer once the current campaign wraps up,” the report added.
