Benni McCarthy has left Manchester United. So, what does the future hold for the Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana legend.

Benni McCarthy has decided to leave Manchester United.

Meanwhile, he has been linked with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, the MLS and even Saudi Arabia. However, an Orlando Pirates move makes for the perfect marriage and it is possible.

MCCARTHY LEAVES MANCHESTER UNITED

McCarthy has officially left the Manchester United.

In fact, he has reportedly turned down a two-year contract extension offer from the Red Devils.

“Having reportedly turned down a two-year contract from the Red Devils following the expiry of his deal in June, McCarthy is said to have tested the waters with a possible move to the MLS, while talk of a return to the DStv Premiership remained rife,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

Pirates are in the market for a new assistant coach. Meanwhile, McCarthy is now unattached.

Furthermore, he hinted at not saying no to Chiefs on the basis that they are an insulation. Meaning, a well established club with history and huge ambitions.
