Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker has issued a warning to Orlando Pirates following his side’s first leg semi-final loss.

10-men Stellenbosch FC went down in a dramatic 2-1 loss at the hands of the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon at the Athlone Stadium.

Despite the loss, Barker believes there’s still hope for his side to overcome the Buccaneers in Orlando later this month in the second leg.

Barker warns Orlando Pirates, it’s not over yet!

“You know at 1-1 I thought it’s not a worse result to end the game considering that we are down to ten men and going to Orlando we would only need to win the game.” – Barker said as quoted by SoccerLaduma.

“So to concede late, it does make the task tougher but it’s not over. We’ve lost today’s battle but we haven’t lost the war. So we have to go there, be brave and courageous and try to find ways to get something out of that game. Based on this performance, I don’t see any reason why we can’t.”

We don’t want to concede – Ntseki

“In terms of the tactics, I think it is something we will carry over from the last two matches into this match, so that everybody is ready and understands what is expected of him in possession and out of possession.” Molefi Ntseki told the Kaizer Chiefs Website.

“But the most important thing is we’ve been scoring goals from set plays, which makes us feel very confident going into this game.

“In the last two matches we did not concede anything, so I think it’s important that it’s a ‘zero concede’ game tomorrow and the most important thing is for us to score the goals.”
