There’s no doubt Bafana Bafana fans love Hugo Broos for obvious reasons, but we’re not so sure if the officials in business suits care about him.

BAFANA BAFANA COACH BROOS EXPOSES PSL OFFICIALS

According to the Belgian coach, he has repeatedly requested SAFA and the PSL to set-up a meeting between him and PSL coaches.

Why repeatedly? Well, Broos says that the PSL has been bizarrely avoiding his request. If Broos is telling the truth, it is just another very mind-boggling behaviour from the PSL.

“Honestly, I have to say no and it’s a pity,” Broos said on TV as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

“I’ve already tried two times to meet with the coaches but every time the league doesn’t accept it. I don’t know why.

“When I did it in August, they said not possible and I did it again in December and they didn’t even send my letter to the clubs.

“This is unbelievable, again I hope that I can have a meeting with the league in the next weeks because it can’t go on like this, we can’t work like this.

“Then if that can be ok, as soon as possible I’d like to meet the coaches. As I said four months ago, I hope it will be ok. I can’t say now [it’ll be ok] because my relationship with the league is not very good,” the AFCON 2019 champion with Cameroon concluded.

SOUTH AFRICA SECURE ADDITIONAL FRIENDLY

Bafana Bafana won’t just play France. Hugo Broos’ side has also secured an additional friendly against Guinea in Belgium.

As The South African reported last month, South Africa’s national side will battle world champions France in an international friendly in Lille on 29 March.

According to Soccer Laduma, SAFA have now secured another test for Bafana Bafana against Naby Keita’s Guinea in Belgium on 25 March.

“In a letter sent to Premier Soccer League clubs regarding upcoming call-ups for the international fixture against France, it was also confirmed by SAFA that the national team would be facing Guinea in Belgium on March 25,” the report said.
