AmaZulu have announced that Romain Folz has signed new three-year deal effective from 1 July 2023 when the current deal expires.

AmaZulu have announced that Romain Folz has signed new three-year deal effective from 1 July 2023 when the current deal expires.

Folz joined AmaZulu in October, taking over from Brandon Truter who was sacked despite guiding them to the semi-finals of the MTN8.

In a statement released on Friday, AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu called on the club fans to rally behind Folz.

Zungu said the reason they extended Folz’s contract is that he buys into the club’s vision 2032; the year AmaZulu want to win the league.

Furthermore, Zungu said with Folz in charge, AmaZulu are still on track to finish inside the top four and possibly qualifying for CAF inter-club competitions.
