A key assist from Percy Tau helped his Anderlecht side to a 2-0 victory over Beerschot in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
The Bafana Bafana international made his second successive start for former Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany’s side.
Lukas Nmecha gave Anderlecht the lead in the 32nd minute from the penalty spot before Tau provided the perfect assist for Paul Mukairu to grab the second in the 72st minute
With their win, Tau’s side moved to fourth position in the Belgian Pro League standings after 19 matches of the season. They trail log-leaders Club Brugge by seven points.
Tau, 26, is currently on loan at Anderlecht from English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Tau has been the subject of a return to England in January’s transfer window.
He is currently waiting on a work permit.
Tau, who represented Mamelodi Sundowns from 2013-2018, has played 28 matches for Bafana Bafana and has scored 12 goals for his country.
