Orlando Pirates have told a wing that he is no longer needed at the club and will allow him to move on a free before the new campaign.

Despite playing in the CAF Champions League this season after a cup double campaign last term, Pirates won’t be exercising the option on another for Craig Martin.

Martin told to leave Pirates

Winger Martin is now set for what will come as a premature exit considering that he only joined the club from Cape Town City back in January.

According to the latest report from iDiski Times, he did not show up at pre-season training with Pirates and will move before the start of the season.

Chippa United have been credited with an interest but it seems more likely that Martin will return to Cape Town with either City or Cape Town All Stars.

THERE ARE EXPECTED TO BE A FEW COMINGS-AND-GOINGS

Kwame Peprah arrived in South Africa with great expectations a couple of seasons ago, but the move hasn’t worked out, and apparently Pirates will now look to part ways with him after a period on loan.
