Two Orlando Pirates legends have reunited at Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit La Masia, this time not as players but coaches.

Daine Klate and Moeneeb Josephs will head the La Masia technical team as coach and goalkeeper coach respectively.

This comes on the back of Klate’s appointment as the club’s head coach on Thursday afternoon.

Klate was last in the dugout when he coached Chippa United; this was his first coaching gig in the PSL.

Both Klate and Josephs enjoyed huge success with the Sea Robbers between 2010 and 2013, winning the famous double-treble with the club.

Josephs arrived in 2008 but it was upon Klate’s arrival in 2010 that Pirates began to win trophies.

The veteran goalkeeper would leave Pirates in 2013, while Klate stayed with the Soweto giants until 2015.

However. they would again reunite at Bidvest Wits where they won a league and Cup double during the 2016-17 season.
