REVEALED: WHY THOBEJANE RESIGNED AFTER EX-ORLANDO PIRATES’ MAN’S ARRIVAL

“What happened is that Thobejane was our head coach and he was working alone. We appointed an assistant coach, Lebogang Mothibantwa, so Thobejane said he can’t work with Lebogang and he resigned,” said Mochocho.

“We didn’t fire him, he is the one who resigned. I don’t know what his issue is with Lebogang Mothibantwa. We are number two on the log, so I was disappointed when he left. I tried to speak to him but he said he can’t work with Lebogang.

“What he [Thobejane] said to me is that Lebogang is not a good coach, he swears a lot and he is disruptive. That’s what he said and I asked him to give him [Mothibantwa] a chance.

“So, even though the players loved him, he is a good coach who motivated them, they were disappointed. I’m the one who brought him here, he is a good coach.

“There was a time he was fighting with Baroka I took him to help me in the Castle league and he helped me. I think we will work together in the future and currently, there are clubs calling me because they want him.”
