Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro issues a bold promise to the Amakhosi faithful as they look to bag the Carling Knockout Cup title.
Chivaviro is yet to hit the top gear in Chiefs colours since making his move to Naturena before the start of the current season.

The former Marumo Gallants hitman is aware that Chiefs faithful are hungry and desperate for trophies – his bold promise is to deliver.
MISFIRING CHIVAVIRO ISSUES PROMISE TO CHIEFS FAITHFUL
The lanky and seasoned striker says Chiefs faithful are seriously starving for a trophy to end the eight-year drought as they meet AmaZulu.
“The fans want us to win cups and I think as players we want that even more,” Chivaviro said per Sowetan.

“With the Carling Knockout, it’s another opportunity for us to try to reclaim glory. As players, we feel this cup is an opportunity for us to end the drought.
“We want to lift the spirits of everyone associated with the club. This is another opportunity for us to redeem ourselves and bring back the glory days that this club is known for.”
The match against Pablo Franco Martin’s Usuthu will be staged at FNB Stadium at 18:00.

CHIVAVIRO HOPEFUL FOR FIRST GOAL IN CHIEFS COLOURS
Coming from the FIFA international break, Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki said he is working hard to solve their goalscoring problems.
Looking at Chivaviro, he netted an impressive 17 goals across all competitions for Gallants last term and he is confident he will regain his form for Chiefs.

“Of course, I am looking to score my first goal, yes there’s pressure but as an experienced player I know that this kind of thing happens in football,” Chivaviro adds.
“It’s only up to me to understand that there are rough patches in football.
