Khama Billiat now the highest paid player in Zimbabwean PSL!

Billiat (33) was one of the highest-paid players in the South African topflight, but he now tops that list in the Zimbabwean PSL.

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star Khama Billiat is reportedly the highest-paid player in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League.

This follows his move to Yadah FC who offered him a one-year deal after highjacking his proposed deal to Dynamos.

HOW MUCH IS KHAMA BILLIAT EARNING AT YADAH FC?

According to Soccer24, Billiat will be earning US$5000 per month at Yadah FC, which is just over R94 000.

And according to the local media, no player in the Zimbabwean PSL is earning that much, even those who are considered local stars.

Nonetheless, this is undoubtedly a downgrade for Billiat, who was reported to be earning over R800 000 at Chiefs.

BILLIAT’S CHANCE TO BOW OUT IN STYLE?

At 33, Billiat is in the twilight of his career, and the move to Yadah is seen as his biggest chance to bow out in style.

And that’s because chances of him possibly returning to the South African topflight are slim, given that no team showed interest in him when he was a free agent.
