Mamelodi Sundowns better make other transfer plans because Karim Kimvuidi is not likely to sign for them ahead of the new season.

That is according to a source speaking to local transfer website SoccerLaduma.

The 21-year-old Maritzburg United star is attracting plenty of interest.

Pirates moving fast for Kimvuidi

“As it stands, now Pirates are the favourites. I can’t divulge a lot of information right now because it may disturb the whole deal and both the club and the player may lose in the process.” – a source told SoccerLaduma.

“But what you should know is that what Pirates have offered is enticing and hard to resist. But as things stand now, Orlando Pirates stand a better chance of signing Karim (Kimvuidi) ahead of Sundowns.

“However, we all know what happens or what can happen in football. So, as I have said, let’s wait for the playoffs to finish and see what will happen.”

Over to you Orlando Pirates.

How will this affect the dealings between the two clubs?

One Sundowns player reportedly on the search for a new club is winger Lesedi Kapinga.

And while Sundowns are seemingly okay with letting him go, there would be a catch if Pirates wanted to snap him up.

And it’s a massive one because the catch is Vincent Pule coming the other way. This comes from a source speaking to Soccer-Laduma,

KAPINGA-PULE SWAP DEAL?

“It will all depend on the talks as who would want to involve their player in the deal.

“At the moment, it’s not clear if an exchange of players plus money will be involved in the deal. We know Sundowns also want Vincent Pule and Pirates have enquired about Kapinga. So, we are just waiting to see what really happens at the end of the day,” the source observed.
