Kaizer Chiefs must bring back one coach that can ‘guarantee’ them trophies
Amakhosi have already lost out on Pitso Mosimane but one coach who has won trophies every season at Kaizer Chiefs is Muhsin Ertugral.

With Pitso Mosimane eyeing a return to the Saudi Pro League, Kaizer Chiefs might have to look at other options in the meantime.
One coach Amakhosi should not overlook is Muhsin Ertugral.

Ertugral had two stints at Chiefs but his frist one was memorable after winning four trophies in one season back in 2001.
The Turkish coach would jump at an opportunity to return to Amakhosi, having declared his love for the club and chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung.
Ertugral’s first stint at Kaizer Chiefs lasted four years, helping them to the African Cup Winners’ Cup in 2001. After quitting in 2003, the ex-Orlando Pirates coach returned in 2007 but his stay was short-lived.
Ertugral has won a trophy every single season he’s been at Chiefs and if given a chance, he might surprise many and end Amakhosi’s trophyless run of nine years.

Kaizer Chiefs lose out on Pitso Mosimane
Former Black Leopards and Chippa United coach Vladislav Heric says Chiefs should give Muhsin Ertugral another chance.
“Being a coach in South Africa is difficult, nobody is patient,” the Serbian coach told Soccer Laduma.

“They need a coach that can handle the pressure because there’s huge pressure at Chiefs. Kaizer Chiefs need to play a different football than they are currently doing, that’s my opinion. They need to be more aggressive in defending and more pressing when attacking. They need more numbers when attacking.”

Heric added the fact that Ertugral loved working with young players.

“Muhsin Ertugral can do a great job with this Chiefs team, he likes aggressive football. Chiefs should consider him because most of the players there have pace and Muhsin loves that,” he said.

“What I like about Muhsin is that he doesn’t allow nonsense on the field; he only works with hard workers,” concluded Heric.
