A Kaizer Chiefs reject has resurfaced in Europe where he has reunited with his former coach Stuart Baxter.

Cole Alexander is officially a Helsingborgs IF player after completing his move on Thursday, thanks to Baxter’s influence.

Alexander had been a free agent since leaving Chiefs with a year left on his contract in July, and he was subsequently linked with a possible move to SuperSport United.

Last weekend, Baxter confirmed Alexander’s arrival at Helsingborgs IF and that he had already started training with the team.

This is the third team that Alexander gets to work together with Baxter at after Odisha FC of India and Chiefs.

The 34-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Helsingborgs IF, meaning it will expire when the current season comes to an end.
