Gavin Hunt says Tau is too relaxed at Al Ahly

Hunt believes that Tau is not playing within the team’s structure and is not effective on the right side of midfield.

He compared Tau’s play when he plays for club and country and suggested that playing him as a nine would be more effective because he is not a wide player in a 4-4-2.

“I watched him when Al Ahli played Sundowns, he doesn’t touch the ball, he doesn’t get involved in the game, he just hangs on the wing there, comes inside, and cuts inside but he should be more effective. Play him as a nine, he’s more effective there because he’s not a wide player in a 4-4-2,” he said on Tau.
