22-year-old Lyle Foster scored his first Premier League goal yesterday in just his second appearance in the competition. It was only a consolation for Burnley in the end, who lost 3-1 to Aston Villa, but the Clarets and Bafana man will be eager to push on. They travel to Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup on Wednesday 30 August at 20:45 and then host high-flying Tottenham on Saturday 2 September in the Premier League. That kicks off at 16:00. Such is Foster’s importance within the squad that he may be rested for the EFL Cup tie and then get drafted back in for the Spurs clash.
