Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag was left frustrated after his side lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

This is the fourth defeat Man United have suffered since the start of the season. Joachim Andersen scored the only goal of the match to avenge Tuesday’s 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat against United.

After the game, Ten Hag said poor decisions ultimately cost them the match.

“We have to blame ourselves,” he said

“It’s quite simple. We conceded only three chances over the whole game – all three from set-plays. Then I think we got in good positions and then made poor decisions,” Ten Hag added.

“We got into good positions and we had free players. We didn’t have an impact. The quality was just not good enough in that part of the game. The final part of the game we didn’t play our best game.”

Manchester United have lost more Premier League games at Old Trafford this season than they did in the entirety of last season.

Ten Hag and his men turn their attention to the Uefa Champions League.
