Check this goal out if you haven’t seen it yet. Since Rashford’s 8th-minute opener, City have dominated possession and the chances but Rashford has shown some menace on the break. He could have been through on goal but for a poor first touch with just the keeper to beat. City goal-machine Erling Haaland missed a gilt-edged chance to bring the hosts and champions level but hit his effort over the bar with just United goalkeeper Andre Onana to beat in stoppage time.
KAIZER CHIEFS FACE ANOTHER MASSIVE WEEK
In 18 league matches this term, the Glamour Boys have scored 16 goals. You don’t need a maths degree to deduce that a side scoring less than a goal per game has serious issues. This is not a new problem though. In 2022-23, the Glamour Boys notched up just 32 league goals in 30 matches. It’s a miserly average for a team of this stature. What’s next? There’s a midweek encounter with Golden Arrows on Tuesday 5 March and then a massive Soweto Derby with Orlando Pirates on Saturday 9 March.
