Liverpool’s match against Tottenham was the talking point these past few days after the Reds were denied a legitimate goal.

Liverpool’s Luis Diaz scored the opener but cancelled as it was judged offside, VAR intervened and incorrectly ruled out the goal. Replays later showed that Diaz was onside when the ball was played to him and the goal should have stood.

After the statement was issued, many sport fans compared the incident to the 2021 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton went up against Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in the final race with both drivers tied in points for the championship.

Hamilton overtook Verstappen early and led the entire race and was five laps away from winning his eighth title until a safety car was deployed thus bunching up the pack. Former F1 race director Michael Masi made an error when he ordered specific lapped cars to unlapped themselves in order to go have one final lap of racing.
