Arsenal youngsters leading Premier League title charge

Three of the four highest scoring players across Europe’s top five leagues are on the books of Arsenal Football Club. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, both 21, scored in the Gunners’ 4-0 rout of Everton last night. Folarin Balogun, on-loan at Ligue 1 side Reims, is the most prolific U21 player on the continent. Martinelli has now scored in three successive EPL matches for the first time in his fledgling career.

Starboy Saka is the complete winger

Not only does Bukayo Saka score goals but he makes them as well. Only Kevin De Bruyne (12) has more assists than Saka (9) in the Premier League this season. Arsenal are also the only EPL side with more than one player who’s reached double figures for goals this term. Skipper Martin Odegaard isn’t far behind with 9. Leandro Trossard has 8, although only one of those was scored in the colours of Arsenal after his move from Brighton in January.
