Kaizer Chiefs sporting director and boss Kaizer Motaung Jr. says Arthur Zwane there’s no demotion regarding the legend despite returning to his role in the development side.
Motaung says Zwane didn’t take his return to his old role as a demotion but it’s an opportunity to serve at Chiefs.

Zwane returned to his role in the development tanks after Molefi Ntseki was sacked last month.
As The South African reported, Ntseki was replaced by interim coach Cavin Johnson who is assisted by Dillon Sheppard in the senior side.

Nicknamed ‘10111’, Zwane is not taking demotion in a negative way but he understands the bigger picture according to Motaung Jnr.
Per the SABC, Motaung was speaking to the media during the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy tour at the Chiefs Village in Naturena.
“I can’t say it’s a demotion, I think everyone who is able and lucky to work at this institution understands that we all get called to duty,” argues Kaizer Jr.

“And, if you get deployed to this position or that position, we are all very grateful to wear that badge and coach Arthur knows where this team comes from and what this team needs.
“Coach Arthur is very focused on being able to bring the talent that we know that the team wants in the future from our academy side.”

While the club announced that the Chiefs legend returned to his previous position in the youth development, it’s unclear what his role is.
This publication understands that Vela Khumalo is still in charge of the reserve team, a role the ex-winger previously occupied.
Looking at Zwane’s previous roles, he served as right-hand man to ex-coaches such as Gavin Hunt and Stuart Baxter before taking the role as the head coach.
