Nodada clearly wants to leave

Nodada made his intentions clear when speaking on Gagasi FM recently, Nodada admitted that he wanted to leave City for greener pastures at the start of the season but that couldn’t happen as he was injured.

“We had a plan, and throughout the years, I have been winning trophies with Cape Town City, and hoping that if I do get an opportunity to leave City, it was to go overseas, and up until the June transfer window. I think I was well in line to get something then I got an injury. At that point, I think everything shifted in life and shifted as a whole,” said Nodada.

“Now, going into the next [transfer] window, it’s my career more than anything that’s important and the advancement of it, and where that takes me, I haven’t felt since that happened that I am of the great that I was when I wanted to go to Europe.

“But I haven’t stopped the work, the fighting and trying to bring myself to that level again where I, myself, felt it,” he continued.

“But at this point in time, if that opportunity were to arise, yes [I’d leave City], and with the games that I play now, and this, more in my mind, I think it will show what I want.”

“But it’s about my career now going into every window at this point in my career and how I can, wherever I am at, compete at the highest level, compete with the best players and have a chance to fully test my potential with variables working in my favour,” concluded Nodada.
