Kaizer Chiefs have received a stern Pitso Mosimane warning from a rather unlikely source ahead of the upcoming CAF Champions League final.

Former Amakhosi head coach Giovanni Solinas has warned the Amakhosi regarding Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane.

The Italian mentor came up against Mosimane on three previous occasions during his stints with Kaizer Chiefs and Free State Stars respectively.

Solinas lost twice and drew the remaining match, conceding a whopping 10 goals while scoring just four times. He has since issued a stern warning to his former side ahead of their CAF Champions League final against Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly.

Pitso Mosimane is a cunning wolf – ex Kaizer Chiefs boss warns

“Pitso Mosimane is a cunning wolf. He studies every single detail about his opponents,” former Kaizer Chiefs mentor Giovanni Solinas told Al Ahly TV regarding current manager Pitso Mosimane.

“Al Ahly are lucky to have him, and he is lucky to lead such a great team. Al Ahly have higher chances in winning the title, but Kaizer Chiefs knocked out Wydad Casablanca. They are not to be underestimated.

“The game won’t be a walk in the park for Al Ahly though. Kaizer Chiefs depend on their strong defence, it’s their strongest point. They will surely try to rely on counter-attacks which will be a problem for Al Ahly.”
