Kaizer Chiefs wasted no time in leaving Tanzania after their 3-0 CAF Champions League defeat against Simba SC on Saturday, 22 May.

Despite the resounding loss, Amakhosi still qualified for their first ever CAF Champions League semi-final 4-3 on aggregate after their 4-0 win in the first leg at their FNB Stadium home.

Kaizer Chiefs will now play Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club in the semi-finals.

The two teams met earlier in the tournament in the group stages where Wydad Athletic Club won their ‘home’ match 4-0 and Kaizer Chiefs triumphed 1-0 in South Africa.
