Jwaneng Galaxy mentor Morena Ramoreboli is not under pressure but ready as he expects a tough clash against Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League.

Ramoreboli was recently in charge of the Bafana Bafana COSAFA Cup squad and says facing Pirates will be a challenge for his Botswana side, Jwaneng – reports Sowetan.

Pirates are through to the Champions League second preliminary round and will now meet a familiar foe in Ramoreboli who is a South African.

The experienced manager was in charge of Maluti FET College when he beat Pirates in the Nedbank Cup when he had Thembinkosi Lorch in his squad in 2013.

Ramoreboli is the man who downed Pirates who are now coached by Jose Riveiro and said Lorch and the likes of Kabelo Dlamini are his proteges.

“To be honest, it’s a big game [but] I am not sure if it’s bigger than the one when I faced them [Pirates] with Maluti,” said Ramoreboli.

“Maybe this one is bigger because I am in a different country, facing a big team from my country. It’s going to be an amazing experience for me.

“A few minutes ago I was talking to Lorch and Kabelo, just to wish them well. These are some of the boys that I worked with. I also worked with Chaine and Saleng…those are my boys.”

MZANSI MENTOR: JWANENG NOT UNDER PRESSURE TO FACE PIRATES

The Rosendal-born coach who is credited for making an impact in the Botswana Premier League insists he is not under pressure to face the reigning Ke Yona cup holders.

“I don’t have to put myself under pressure. I’ve played big matches before and this is one of those matches that can go either way,” added Ramoreboli.

“At the end of the day, life doesn’t start with this game and life doesn’t end with this game.

“There’s more to life than this game…after this game, I’ll still be coaching and in future, I am still going to be involved in other big games. Whatever happens at the end shouldn’t take away the fact that I’ve worked too hard to be where I am.”

Pirates are set to face their Southern African counterparts away from home this coming Sunday.
