Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana could be heading to Ukraine as Kaizer Chiefs look to renew their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

A Bimenyimana exit would allow Chiefs to press forward with the move to sign Ranga Chivaviro.

According to Unplayable, the Limpopo-born center forward was at the Naturena Village on Thursday, subject to an official announcement.

Ranga on the verge of Chiefs move

#UNPLAYABLE can 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙈 that Ranga Chivaviro was at Kaizer Chiefs’ village in Naturena today,” the outlet reported.

“Soon he’ll be announced as a Chiefs player.”

According to iDiski Times, the 25-year-old Burundian forward Bimenyimana has attracted a move to Ukraine.

Bimenyimana out of Africa

“Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana has attracted interest from Ukraine, iDiski Times have learnt,” the outlet said.

Kaizer Chiefs are set for major changes with Nasreddine Nabi appearing closer to signing up to coach the Glamour Boys.

But that’s not all …

Chiefs could very well then add two striking options should Nabi be given the hotseat at Naturena.

Bimenyimana out but Ranga in?

Nabi is under the guidance of agent Herve Tra Bi, who actually also looks after the interests of 30-year-old forward Ranga Chivaviro.

And Nabi might bring Yanga forward Fiston Mayele with him should he decide to make the move to the PSL giants.

Mayele has long been linked with a move to South Africa.

With Kaizer Chiefs on the hunt for a new striker ahead of the 2023-24 season, Chivaviro has been primed to play for Chiefs.

According to popular online source Unplayable, Chiefs are well-placed to successfully secured the services of Chivaviro, and could have this confirmed in the coming days.

Similarly, Nasreddine Nabi and Kaizer Chiefs seem to be edging closer to agreed terms, which could spell the end of Arthur Zwane’s head coach tenure.

According to SABC Sport, Chiefs seem willing to accept a compromise in order to secure the services of Nabi, who has become their No 1 target in terms of a blockbuster new coaching appointment.

The interesting twist to these two pieces of news has been shared by Soccer Laduma, with the publication reporting that Ivorian agent Herve Tra Bi – who is based in South Africa – is partly facilitating the deal between Nabi and Chiefs. Tra Bi is said to also work with Chivaviro, and it’s suggested that should the Tanzanian coach accept the gig at Chiefs, it would naturally advance the likelihood of the striker following him to Naturena.

NABI HAS A GOOD RELATIONSHIP

Meanwhile, unfortunately for Amakhosi, reported target Fiston Mayele has apparently been tied down on a new blockbuster deal with Tanzanian powerhouse Young Africans.

Interestingly, Nabi has just been seen with Fiston Mayele at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, as their travel paths recently crossed.

Of course, if Nabi does seal a long-term move to Chiefs, it would be interesting to see whether Mayele could eventually be tempted to join the Soweto giants as well.
