Billiat came on as a substitute for Chiefs against Cape Town City, after a long injury lay off. Unfortunately his return did not last long, as he was soon taken off due to another injury. Since then, Amakhosi offered him a new deal, which he rejected and never returned to the club. He has then been rumoured for several potential suitors in the PSL like SuperSport United and Cape Town Spurs. City were also rumoured to be in for his signature but could not reach an agreement with him and his people.

After a failed training stint with SuperSport, Billiat returned to his native, with giants Dynamos mooted as his next destination. But that move seemed to have more hurdles than first anticipated, and was eventually called off. Now according to iDiski Times the player has finally struck an agreement, with another club in Zimbabwe. That club being Yadah FC.

Billiat agrees to join Yadah FC

“In a new twist around Khama Billiat’s return to football, Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League side Yadah Football Club agreed terms with the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs star. A close source told iDiski Times that Billiat has now agreed on a short-term contract with the Miracle Boys. They will be aiming to fight for a better season after surviving relegation on the last day of the last campaign by beating Dynamos 2-1.” Wrote the publication.

It’s believed clubs like Yadah are part of a new wave of teams in Zimbabwe with financial muscle. This stemming from the Diamond sector investing in the club’s football. That, however, hasn’t stopped Dynamos from believing they can outbid any local club for Billiat’s services.
