THREE Kaizer Chiefs players who could start for Bafana BEFORE Amakhosi!

Bafana Bafana take on Ghana in their 2022 Soccer World Cup qualifier on Monday with five Kaizer Chiefs players in Hugo Broos’ squad.

Bruce Bvuma, Austin Dube, Njabulo Ngcobo, Njabulo Blom and Sibusiso Mabiliso are all a part of the national set-up.

While Bvuma will not start with Ronwen Williams announced as the captain of Bafana Bafana’s Soccer World Cup qualifiers, in contrast, one can expect Mabiliso to be named in Broos’ starting line up as he looks to exert more energy and urgency on attack for South Africa.

There are three Amakhosi players who have signed for the club under coach Stuart Baxter who have not as yet started for Kaizer Chiefs.

They could very well play for Bafana Bafana as Kaizer Chiefs players – before earning their Kaizer Chiefs debuts!

Dube had a brief stint off the bench during the DStv Premiership this season, but has not yet started for Amakhosi. He is not likely to start against Ghana.

Meanwhile, Ngcobo and Mabiliso have also not started a match for Amakhosi since signing for the Soweto giants, but Mabiliso is expected to feature against Ghana in next Monday’s second qualifier.

Njabulo Blom could very well make his Bafana Bafana debut after an excellent domestic season with Amakhosi
