Mokoena says Broos is the ‘best Bafana Bafana coach in 24 years’
“Congratulations to the coach. He’s the best coach. No disrespect to other coaches,” Teboho Mokoena reserve praise for Hugo Broos.

Bafana Bafana midfielder, Teboho Mokoena, believes that Hugo Broos is the best coach that the South African football national team has had in 24 years.
Broos led Bafana to their first semi-final finish since 2000, and Mokoena, who has been one of Bafana’s best players at the Afcon, praised Broos for the work he has done.

“I won’t say much. Everyone has spoken about the coach,” Mokoena said as per FARPost.
“Congratulations to the coach. He’s the best coach. No disrespect to other coaches. He’s the best coach we’ve had in 24 years.”
Mokoena praises Bafana coach Hugo Broos
Mokoena said the next goal was to help Bafana qualify for the FIFA 2026 World Cup. “We must qualify first for AFCON, and we must be at the next FIFA World Cup.”
Bafana will meet Nigeria once again in June.

The Super Eagles won 4-2 on penalties in the Afcon semi-finals against Broos’ men last week. Mokoena, who is the PSL footballer of the season, gave credit to his teammates and supporters.
“I’m so happy about what we’ve achieved as a team. We’ve worked extremely hard to get to where we are today. I want to thank my teammates for the hard work and everyone who has supported us back home,” Mokoena added.
