Percy Tau continues to struggle at the Afcon.

Bafana Bafana forward Percy Tau was heavily criticised by fans following his poor performance against Cape Verde in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations on Saturday evening.

The Al Ahly star has struggled to make his mark in the tournament and his poor form continued against the Blue Sharks.

Percy Tau’s struggles continue

The 29-year-old missed a penalty kick against Mali but redeemed himself in the next match against Namibia when he scored from the spot. Despite the goal, Tau chased shadows throughout the game and looked out of sorts ever since.

The striker was eventually taken off in the 84th minute to the delight of many fans.
