Tomas is eager to secure a move for Sithole but noted the potential obstacle of his current club’s valuation. “Of course, we want to transfer him,” said Tomas, “but the club wants €3 million (R62 million), but in the second league it is very difficult [to get that kind of offer].”

“He’s 24 and all the people in Africa or the world know there is a good midfielder in the second league in Portugal,” the agent stressed. Tomas is working hard to secure a move: “He will move at the end of the season.”
If a summer transfer falls through, the agent indicated Sithole may wait out his contract with Portuguese club Tondela: “[If it doesn’t happen] Yaya can stay another year in the league [and wait for his contract to expire at the end of next season] but he will move, for sure.”

Despite potential hurdles, Sithole’s agent remains optimistic about a high-profile move. “I have my contacts in Portugal…they know a player like him can’t play in the second division. It is better not to talk about it but there is a proposal in the Serie A,” revealed Tomas.
