Mudau wanted in Belgium

Khuliso Mudau was excellent for South Africa as a dependable, rock-solid option from right-back. Of course, many fans will remember his glaring miss in stoppage time against Nigeria in the semi-finals, but that can’t detract from his overall displays. According to The Citizen, the Sundowns man is being watched by Genk in Belgium after reported interest from Premier League side Burnley at the tail end of 2023.

“Obviously, there are rumours here and there but I’m focusing on my team, which is Mamelodi Sundowns. But if an opportunity like that (playing for Burnley FC) can come, obviously I’ll just take it,” Mudau told Safa media.
