AFCON 2023: All the Last 16 fixtures and dates!

The group stages of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has come to the end, and there are now 16 nations left in the tournament.

The group stages of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has come to the end, and there are now 16 nations left in the tournament.

The hosts, Côte d’Ivoire, made it to the knockout stages on the final day of the group stage matches as one of the four third-best teams.

The other three teams are Namibia, Mauritania and Guinea while the likes of Ghana, Algeria and Tunisia crashed out in the group stages.

Equatorial Guinea impressed the most alongside Angola and Burkina Faso after finishing in the top two in their respective groups.

Now, the fixtures and dates for the AFCON 2023 Last 16 have been confirmed, and here is how they look…

AFCON 2023: FULL FIXTURES AND DATES FOR THE LAST 16

The Last 16 of this tournament will get underway on Saturday, 27 January with Angola taking on Namibia at 19:00 SA time.

Cameroon will then face Nigeria in the second match of the day in what is expected to be a cracker of a game at 22:00.

On Sunday, 28 January, Equatorial Guinea will play hosts to Guinea at 19:00 while Egypt will face the Democratic Republic of Congo at 22:00.

The matches will continue again on Monday, 29 January with Cape Verde hosting Mauritania at 19:00 while Senegal will take on Côte d’Ivoire at 22:00 on the same day.

The Last 16 will conclude on Tuesday, 30 January with Burkina Faso hosting Mali at 19 January while Bafana Bafana will face off against Morocco at 22:00.
