Springboks will LOSE to Ireland, say bookmakers

The Springboks will get their four-Test end of year European tour off to a losing start against Ireland in Dublin – if bookmakers are to be believed.

The world champion Springboks will take on Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 5 November.

Kick-off is at 19:30 (SA time).

As reported exclusively by The South African website, the Springboks will move to No 1 in the World Rugby rankings with a victory over their top-ranked Irish opponents.

However, according to leading South African bookmakers Hollywoodbets, that’s not going to happen.

Hollywoodbets have installed Ireland as 58/100 favourites, while the Springboks can be backed at 15/10.

The draw after 80 minutes is available at 20/1.

Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber will announce his 23-man team to face Ireland on Tuesday, 1 November at 14:00 (SA time).

Following the Test against Ireland, the Springboks will take on France, Italy and England on consecutive weekends.
