Springbok boss Jacques Nienaber overhauled South Africa’s match-day team for Sunday game against Romania, with only Damian Willemse retaining his spot in the starting lineup from the one that featured against Scotland.

So it was not really an issue that Marx’s name was not listed on the team sheet.

However, since the announcement was named a little over an hour ago, news has filtered through confirming that Marx has suffered an injury and has been sent for scans to determine the severity of the injury.

SuperSport reporter Matt Pearce, who is in France, confirmed via a video posted on social media that Nienaber admitted that there is an injury concern about Marx, but the Bok boss refused to divulged any further information.
